MUHYIDDHEENIYA MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

    The school attaches highest importance to students discipline inside and outside the campus. For, it believes that better discipline is the secret of academic excellence. Students must abide by the following rules and regulations of the school

    1. Every student must attend the school regularly and punctually. Late coming and irregular attendance should be avoided.
    2. All the students should attend the assembly prayer. Those who do not attend the prayer will be punished.
    3. Latecomers never allow to the class without the permission of the principal.
    4. After absence pupil will not be admitted a leave letter, Long period of sick leave should always be accompanied by a medical certificate from a Government Medical officer.
    5. Students should be at their seats in their classrooms immediately after the prayer. They should maintain strict silence in class.
    6. Every student should bring to the class the required textbooks, notebooks, pen etc.
    7. No student should leave his/her class without the permission of the teacher concerned.
    8. If the teacher has not turned up, the students should wait for him/her for ten minutes. Any one of them can go to the principal room and get instruction from the principal.
    9. Students should not loiter in the veranda and stand in groups obstructing the movements of staff and students.
    10. Students are expected to spend their leisure time in the Library.
    11. No student should go to other class rooms in between first and second bells and in the fifteen minutes intervals.
    12. Any student found to be indifferent to or careless in his/her class work or whose conduct is harmful is liable to be punished.
    13. Inciting the students to abstain from classes or preventing them from attending classes, is an offence. The offenders will be expelled from the school and no conduct certificate will be issued to them.
    14. Punctuality and regular attendance, proper dress, sincerity in doing home works and gentlemanly behaviour in all these matters, and the cooperation of parents is expected at all times.
    15. Students are not permitted to hold meetings, collect subscriptions, circulate notices etc., except with the permission of the principal.
    16. No student should cause damage to the school property. Breaking furniture and glass windows, writing on walls, desks, and benches meddling with chemical goods etc., will entail severe punishment If the offender is not traceable collective one will be imposed.
    17. No student should behave inside or outside the school in such a way as to bring discredit or disrepute to the school.
    18. Students are advised to abide by and adhere to the rules and regulations of the school. Violation of even any one of the above rules and regulations will result in the immediate expulsion of the student or students concerned.
    19. Students are expected to read notices put up on the notice boards. Ignorance of any notice thus put up will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with it.
    20. Students who are found to be loitering on the premises of the school without attending classes especially when the classes are going on are liable to severe punishment.
    21. Students are expected to write all the tests conducted in each term, sincerely. Those Who fail to attend the tests he /she is not Permitted to write the Annual examination.
    22. The management reserves the exclusive right to dismiss the students who continuously fail to make satisfactory progress in their studies and behaviours.
    23. Pupils are strictly forbidden to bring Mobile Phones, Cameras, or any objectionable things to the school.
    24. Students are not permitted to meet the Principal or any school officials in the group at any time.
    25. Character and conduct certificates cannot be claimed as a matter of right. The Principal may refuse to issue these certificates without assigning any reason.

    WITHDRAWAL OF TRANSFER CERTIFICATE (T.C)

    • While applying T.C Parents are advised before starting the academic year.
    • If anyone apply T.C after the completion of the academic year, you should be paid one term fee.
    • Except the above said cases, After the collection the T.C will be issued.

    TOURS

    An educational tour will be arranged for the entertainment of the students. So we expect cooperate from the parents.
